Elpa Delivers a High-Standard Energy Distribution Solution to HABAŞ

Elpa, a leading provider of high-quality solutions compliant with international standards in the iron and steel industry, engineered and delivered a tailor-made medium voltage switchgear system for HABAŞ, one of Turkey’s foremost industrial corporations.

This project, designed for HABAŞ’s newly established 320 MVA electric arc furnace, features a high current-carrying capacity system operating at 40.5 kV, 4000 A, and 40 kA short-circuit current, consisting of 2+2 circuit breakers operating in parallel and fed via two separate incoming lines. The system stands out with its custom design and robust construction.
